3 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Compelling stories that leave you wanting more. By Shaun M. Phelps I had the opportunity to read this book before its official release. This is a mix of short stories with a selection of prologue a in the back. The stories are pure intense. I don't believe there is a weak moment in this book. A wide variety of monsters, humans, trees, and the elements themselves haunt the protagonists and compelling the reader to want more. Great work!

Confusing & unsatisfying with an exception or two By Ron Baker I found these shorts oddly paced, confusing, disconnected, mediocre and lacking compelling mystery and resolution. Often the malevolence is vague and purposeless.I am always hesitant to give a bad review, I know these stories are a labor of love for the author and I don't want to be mean. But this is for sale and as an avid reader of diverse horror works I find this lacking. In my opinion a horror fans money will be much better spent elsewhere..

But I will say great writing from what I did read. The first story flowed nicely but it just didn't get it for me.
