0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Perfect for quick recipes! By Patrick Gans We already have The Silver Spoon New Edition, but it was always frustrating to find easy to make recipes. Plus it is just so voluminous that it is a little overwhelming to randomly pick stuff out. In steps Quick and Easy Italian Recipes.The book has 6 main chapters: Appetizers, First Course, Second Course, Sides, Desserts/Beverages, and Basics (sauces used in multiple recipes). Each recipe takes 2 pages, one is a full page picture and the other is a ingredient list with a couple of paragraphs of explanation. We are going through the entire book (save just a couple recipes with whole fish) and so far everything has been excellent! Probably my favorite so far has been Conchiglie with Spinach. Simple yet wonderful.The majority of the ingredients have been extremely easy to find, probably the hardest is when you are looking for a very specific pasta but you can always sub something out.There is also a section in the book that organizes everything by cooking time, but I've found that unnecessary since everything is pretty quick anyway.
