Our bodies are not used to digesting gluten By Abraham Hedrick Gluten is simply a protein composite of glutenin and gliadin found in the endosperm of different grass-related grains like wheat, rye and barley among others. The truth is that our bodies are not used to digesting gluten. As such, its intake has many side effects in the community although you may not be consciously following it in your body The challenge is that doing away with gluten may be a big challenge since most sweet and delicious foods contain gluten. However, there’s a huge category of healthy and tasty foods that are gluten-free that you can include in your diet like avocados, celery, green beans, almond milk, ghee, white rice, asparagus, turnips, watercress, sorghum, eggplant, squash, organic or pasture-fed butter, nut butters, nuts, olives, grass-fed tallow, coconut oil, radishes.The book goes on and also list the foods where gluten can be found in order to help you control its intake like Wheat Bran,Graham flour, White Flour Wheat Germ, Spelt Semolina, and Barley among others. The preparations of Gluten free recipes are all detailed in this same book.

I was curious about how gluten free food tastes like so I got this book to at least be aware of it. I was here both for some information about gluten-free diet and to try one or few of the recipes in this book. Looking at the foods you can and cannot eat, it seems like a healthy diet. The author provided thorough discussion about gluten and gluten-free diet before proceeding to the recipes and meal plans. I've tried one recipe first - the zucchini pancakes - and it tasted really good.Although I don't think I'm going to maintain a gluten-free diet, I'm still keeping this book because the recipes are good and healthy so will use it from time to time. This book is perfect for those who want to really maintain and indulge on the diet because it has meal plans one can follow.
