This short story was freely available on the Amazon TTA Press page from 2012 to 2014. Neutrino C.A.T is a short science fiction story first published in the online magazine A Writer's Choice Literary Journal in 1998. It was my second published story and soon after its appearance the solar neutrino ‘problem’ was resolved and hence the background became both obsolete and unnecessary. However I still like it despite those, and other, flaws. It is also rather dated but it seems to work despite that and has some interesting ideas. This story is a test file uploaded to check my ability to format an E Book as an Epub/MOBI file from scratch and check its appearance before I try any other publications here. Please have a look at it on your e reader, or any other mobile device providing a similar function, and let me know if it is readable or not. A good story covering a (previous) real scientic problem By Tom Brown I liked the story a lot, which examines measured neutrino radiation against theoretical numbers, a real issue back in the 1990's. The author adds a note that says the story is a bit dated, because the problem as now been solved. I only wish that the author's foot-note described how the numbers were finally rationalized. I guess I'll have to Google it now! At the same time, true hard science-fiction stories are hard to come by, so I appreciate this one all the more.Some might not like its anti-nuclear weapons theme, but the use of those weapons in the scientific research context (in outer space) is a good one.I hope to find other works by this author.
