The biggest one being what a whiny needy crybaby Rose. I have seen 10 year old's who act more mature then her. It's one thing to want someone it's another to completely beg them for attention. I am into book 3 right now and I am having a really hard time getting past her whining! I wish that she had been written with a little more spine. Rose has so much potential as a character. The other thing is that when Jacob says Rose is coming to work for him and that she'll be working for David.....and suddenly his name is Greg for a while and then when Rose in Jacobs office crying about him saying it's over for them (and really there wasn't really a relationship between them to begin with) he tells her she needs to go meet David. I am going to read the rest of the books and I am really hoping that it gets better and Rose stops being needy and spineless. If this hadn't been something on KU I wouldn't go on.
