Recipes sound good...but photos are obviously not of the food made in them By Amazon Customer The recipes sound appealing, but in some cases lack sufficient details about ingredients (i.e, 1 cup tomato sauce and juice). More confusing, though, are photos shown with many of the recipes that are clearly not of the food in the recipe. For example, a recipe for Atkins style pasta that calls for spirulized zucchini but the photo shows real rigatoni pasta, another sandwich which shows real bread...when the sandwich is between two portobello mushroom slices. And pizza that has a crust but in the recipe would look more like layered pizza ingredients with nothing that would look crustlike. Accurate pictures of food prepared in the recipes would be preferable.

By Amazon Customer Eating healthy, delicious dishes and losing weight sounded like a miracle for me before I’ve tried several recipes from the book. I find recipes based on Atkins to be a really good option for healthy meals, But it seems to be even much easier to prepare them in slow cooker. Good to get all kinds of recipes even vegan and vegetarian plus mouthwatering desserts. I’m not so experienced cook but I surprise not only myself but others in my family when I cook these recipes in my crock pot.

De Cicco very confusing, Cheese Soup with Beef recipe doesn’t say what ingredients are for the meatballs or what kind of cheese, special Adkins pizza, the picture shows a pizza but the recipe doesn’t say anything about a crust, too many errors, poorly written, just slapped together. All the pictures are deceiving. I wrote this honest review for a free copy of the book
