Camp Admittedly, I am already a fan of M.A. Ray's works, and I can't say I am disappointed in the least with the author's latest efforts. In these two short stories, we delve into a time before the events of Hard Luck and the subsequent stories of Rothganar, and find ourselves faced with a young Eagle Eye Wormsbane, (Voalt Vistridir) and Crown Prince Brother Fox (Bearach).If you love the tidbits of tales that Dingus shares with the Knights of the Air and want to know more about the legends that fill the history of his world, this is a wonderful place to start.The tight dialog, beautiful characterization, and easy, flowing narrative will have you eagerly anticipating getting to know Brother Fox and Eagle Eye even better in the future (but hopefully not too far in the future!).

Five star review, well-deserved, and I'm hooked. Being a long-time friend notwithstanding, I purchased this book, and all the others, and am leaving a favorable review because that's what these stories deserve.
