3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Great story in a short format By MarcieR I've read quite a few novellas lately and I must say this book doesn’t feel like a novella. Some give the feeling that something is missing. This novella does not feel that way. It’s a complete, satisfying read in 70+ pages.Some things I really liked:Great characters - you feel like you know them and they are fully-formed - not cardboard.The dialogue was perfect - as in perfect use of some curse words since they weren’t there just to be there.And it had just the right amount of steaminess - didn't seem forced or unbelievable. It fit the characters.Not sure what other great things I can say, since I don’t reveal the plot (that’s in the blurb above), but this is an excellently written novella and I highly recommend it.

Will she be able to sell the two houses she has invested everything in?A fast-paced, often funny, sometimes sad, and wonderfully steamy. Lola is take charge and goes after what she wants and Van is quietly commanding and lives to please Lola. A wonderful tale and my first by this author. I look forward to reading more!

Loa and Van don't want a relationship, just sex... She wants the independence, coming on the heels of a deceptive relationship, and he's had the nomadic life of a super star. But is a one night stand enough? A super read by the fire for an evening or on the train ride home from a busy day at the office.
