A gripping short story by the author of the bestselling Hangman's Daughter series.

June 16, 1692. Relic dealer Georg Ayndorfer is found slain in the Chapel of St. Quirinus of Tegernsee. Was it the holy rage of St. Quirinus himself, or was Ayndorfer murdered by jealous colleagues?

Georg Asam, a famous artist commissioned to paint a fresco in the chapel, feels compelled to investigate.

A Quick Taste Leaves You Wanting More By Catriona Mairi Holy Rage, a short story from Oliver Potzsch, author of The Hangman's Daughter series, is a quick read in the same vein as the series. Drawing from medieval German history, lore, art, and religion, it deals with the era's common practice of selling the "relics" of saints as miraculous totems for healing. The relics are a focus for the faith of the individual--but what happens when they lead instead to murder? This story will leave you dying to read more of Oliver Potzsch's meticulously detailed work!

I have enjoyed all of Potzsch books and Holy Rage was not a disappointment. It held my interest to the end and was not predictable I am looking forward to Oliver Potzsh’s next book

By Amazon Customer I am used to reading those really long Poetzsch stories of Bavarian mysteries - this one was blessedly short and sweet! Love it! Someone needs to pick up on this character and make a series out of this! Cheers! Keep'em coming, Herr Poetzsch!
