About the Author "A bookworm with a passion for helping people!" Hi, I'm Emily MacLeod. I grew up in the suburbs near Vancouver BC. Growing up I was very shy, quiet, and kept to myself. My most favorite hobby was reading. I would often be sitting in the hallway during lunch hour reading a book by my locker while the other children were playing, socializing, and horsing around. I always felt more comfortable lost in a book. Over the years, my passion for reading and learning enabled me to acquire knowledge in health and wellness. Much of what I learned I applied to my own life and saw wonderful results. I also found that my knowledge often spilled over into other people's lives and helped them as well. I loved being able to help others so I put two and two together and began writing books that would help people. My books have since helped many people around the world live healthier, happier lives. It's always wonderful to know that my writing has enabled someone to live better. My hope is that my books will enhance your life in the same way that writing them has enhanced mine.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Good book with tasty recipes By Ryan C This book was pretty useful, with lots of recipes that are supposed to help with an anti-inflammatory diet. I enjoyed going through the book, as there was a lot of variety in the recipes, and the author's tone was clear and concise. I'd say it's a good resource to have if you want some new recipes that are pretty healthy. The only feedback I would have for the author is to consider removing gluten (derived from bread, flour, etc) ingredients from the recipes - because gluten contains inflammatory properties. Maybe she could at least have a section dedicated to gluten free recipes.

By Kaji Gonenashvili Recently I've been downloading several books regarding health care and constructive diets, as my health has been going towards a pretty worring direction. This book is amazing, I love the simple way the author writes about the dishes - the ingredients and directions are clear to understand. I will definitely try some of them, specially the salads and chicken breast dishes, and let you all know about it. At the moment they all sound delicious and healthy, excellent mix, so no reason to quit so far.

Healthy to Try By Jenjan This book helps me discipline myself in eating inflammatory foods by preparing dishes that are alternatives yet very much delicious and quite same with those diets.I like the way this book is written as its not focused on the dishes and recipes itself but there is a precise explanation towards health problems and the benefits that our body can get out from this alternative recipes.
