1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. VERY UNIQUE! By MJ Very original short story! I loved that the character, who didn't seem to care about anything, went through this unique awakening. It wasn't just spiritual, but...a nature awakening, too? (Not sure what else to call it.) Would definitely love to read more if this gets made into a full-length novel.

For Lovers of Haunting Mystery and the Natural World By Editrix Gal I loved this simple yet surprising short story, a modern twist on Hudson's classic romance, Green Mansions. It is well written and richly conveyed the main character's emotions, as well as the settings, which were described with enough researched detail to be convincing but not so much as to interrupt the flow of the story. Most of all, I found it quite moving and the end very satisfying. A good read!
