About the Author K.B. Carr is someone who is lucky enough to be able to do what she loves best- learn about weird stuff! Her mother wanted to know why she asked so many questions all the time. K.B. told her that she asked because she wanted to know things. “Curiosity killed the cat.”, her mother said. “But, satisfaction brought her back!”, K.B. replied. K.B. is the mother of two children, Ryan and Kelsey, and she tries really hard to answer all their questions if she can. She lives in West Michigan with her dog, Captain Jack. Jack is a girl dog with a boy’s name. K.B. says that Ryan, Kelsey and Jack are her favorite Weird & Wacky Creatures.

I loved it, so did my 12 year old and 49 year old husband !! It is a great read for all ages and full extremely interesting facts. It is well written in a clear concise manner that compels the reader on to the next no so exotic creature that could be living next door or 3000 miles away.

He is usually pretty active but this book kept his attention the entire time. He loves learning new things about animals as well as other things. We highly recommend this book and give it the thumbs up!
