By Jenny I have really enjoyed everything that I have read from this author, so when I saw this short story I jumped on it. Who doesn't want a quick read during a busy time of year? Especially when it's from an author that you can depend on to entertain you. It's not a complex premise: set in 1157, girl will inherit father's estate, has been commanded to marry and has suitors presenting themselves for a chance to obtain the estate. A Scottish knight, and potential husband, arrives before his "entourage" and scopes out the village and estate "undercover". The two accidentally meet in the dark "Under the Kissing Tree" and sparks fly. Not knowing who each other is, the serious business of courting for land begins in the daylight, but neither can forget the nighttime encounter.....and the inevitable conclusion occurs. This author always writes with humour and develops beautiful romances. Recommended.
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. A wonderful love story! By DACS I loved the premise of this story. It’s super romantic and fun. This couple was really adorable and they were so well drawn and colorful. This lighthearted romance was just the thing for a lazy afternoon. Recommended.
