Scott jumped up, pumping his fist and then hitting his chest. Felina rolled her eyes at his antics “Umm, Bradshaw, you didn't do this alone. Hello!” Sheepishly, he walked over to the table and pulled her in his arms, kissing her. “Baby, you know you are first but I got kind of caught up.” “Right, I am not coming in second to your children.” She teased. “Never that!” He leaned in kissing her passionately, until the doctor cleared her throat, sending Felina into another giggling binge. ¥¥¥¥ Arabella chose her outfit carefully. She and Juan had been ‘seeing’ each other as friends for the past few months. He was patient and she was taking it slower because they had been lifelong friends, lovers and then broke apart while both pursued other interests. But she wanted him and it was clear, he wanted her as well. They were both a bit hesitant of messing up a friendship they had almost lost once, but… ¥¥¥ I am done playing with Bella. This series gets better and better with each installment, and this one is the best yet!If you have not read the Felix Women series, I strongly suggest you begin with book 1 and work your way up. I am so emotionally involved in this series, I cannot begin to describe my excitement when a new installment drops. Ms. Vernon writes about un-apologetically confident black women who command respect always. They don’t take no s*** from their men and they sure don’t take none from other women, and I am in a constant state of YAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSS!!!!In Felina and Arabella's Mix, our story picks right back up where the last book left off, but there are a few twists and surprises along the way. We’ve got babies, new love, salty exes, and a wedding! This installment is also filled with so much social commentary, but not in a preachy, in-your-face way. Among them are the resurgence (or better yet, awareness) of police brutality among young, black males, teen motherhood, and the duplicitous acts some women make when their biological clocks start ticking. I just cannot get enough. Oh, and the romance…grown and sexy! Click it up!

Nothing better than a good storyline and then add a natural talent for the written word. The end result is a satisfying work of fiction. Angelia's books evokes emotions and gives her readers a view of the resiliency of human nature...lessons to be learned along life's journey.I am waiting for the series finale. Life teaches us that all good things have to come to an end...even for those fabulous Felix women.
