By Frankie Pressure cookers are probably one of the most intimidating kitchen appliances I've ever come across. There is so much room for error that for years I simply avoided them. I stumbled across this cook book and some the recipes were so alluring that I thought I might give it a try. Some of the recipes are extensive, ( Ginger Chicken with Chickpeas) but the ones I actually tried (Chicken Curry Chowder and Beef Ribs) came out wonderfully. This isn't a how too book on how to use a pressure cooker, but the recipes offered are filling and great family meals. Most of the meals are really hardy,( stews and heavy meats) so if you want something with a lighter feel, this probably isn't the cookbook for you. I found that though I had to buy a few ingredients, I did have most of the seasonings already. So even as a beginner, you may have most of these ingredients in your pantry. If you love to cook or you just want to try something new I highly recommend this book.

I love foods cooked in a pressure cooker By Alexis Halliwell I love foods cooked in a pressure cooker, especially the meat recipes, because it can cook it very well that makes it so tender. You can cook fast and have a very tasty meal using this pressure cooker too. That's why I grabbed this book. It has lots of recipes using an electric pressure cooker. The book has clear instructions and well written. I can't wait to try the recipes in this book.

I can save plenty of time cooking and I can serve scrumptious meals for my family without compromising my time for them. There are very helpful recipes inside which I think my family would really love. The recipes also are great for visitors at home so it won't really be an effort on my side. I am so glad that I have found this book.
